Throughout the book there is so much mention of how hard the employees work, and how many hours they put in for each engagement read project that it was becoming hard for me to take this book seriously. If you’re someone who has no idea about the consulting world, you’ll love this book. Talk to best and worst performers. Some points are good and can be applied in general.

Overall, the author offers some useful general tips throughout the book, but I have to say I was disappointed that the book did not provide in-depth explanation of the philosophy, original thought, breakthroughs, or novel methodologies developed at McKinsey compare this to The Toyota Way and mckonsey point gets clearer.
